Niagara River Gorge Trail

The Niagara River Gorge trailhead is adjacent to Earl W. Brydges State Artpark, a 108-acre park whose programming attracts thousands of people over the course of its summer season. In July 2023, Artpark featured Mantra Percussion performing Michael Gordon’s iconic concert-length sextet, Timber, set along Artpark’s iconic Niagara River Gorge Trail. The acoustics of the cliff face along the trail where the concert occurred were incredibly resonant. The resonance mixed with the active river below creates a stunning acoustic experience.
